Website Description: The New Rochelle council on the arts is a major cultural resource for the 70,000 citizens of New Rochelle and surrounding Westchester County, NY. Our current exhibition "The Art of Alton Tobey" presents over 30 of his original paintings done as illustrations for Life Magazine and the Golden Book series as well as a number of his portraits. The public is cordially invited to the exhibition, which will be at the New Rochelle Library from October 22 through November 14th, 2003.
