Website Description: Our current worm farm and shipping facility is the end result of growing and shipping California Blackworms for more than twenty years. As you can see, we do not raise our Blackworms in ditches, trout hatcheries, or dairy ponds. Our water source is a mixture of cool river water and clear well water. We do not reuse any of our water. We always have fresh water running through our ponds. We raise our worms on a specially formulated pellet food. After growing the Blackworms outside, we collect them and bring them inside to our shipping facility. There they are chilled to approximately 45 degrees and await shipping.
