Website Description: Over ten years ago, several African-American technical professionals in the greater Baltimore, Maryland metropolitan area had a desire for change. These men and women knew other professionals in the science and engineering arena who were looking for some employment, networking, mentoring, and educational opportunities in addition to those found on their jobs at that time. These people also wanted the chance to meet other professionals like themselves. They wanted a forum for information exchange and fellowship. They wanted a way to continue that void that NSBE filled in college.
